THE PLANE TRUTH – THE UK IS A SOFT TOUCH FOR TERRORISTS

Air travellers across the world face yet more tough restrictions after an Islamic nutcase of a passenger came within seconds of destroying a transatlantic plane and killing all 289 people on board. US President Obama interrupted his Christmas holiday to order 2 anti-terrorism reviews as aviation chiefs acted to close loopholes that let Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab (pictured above during a school trip to London in 2002), a known Nigerian extremist, take explosive materials on to an aircraft flying from Amsterdam to Detroit on Christmas Day. And President Obama is right to ask some searching questions, because this bloke should never have been able to get on a plane with or without explosive strapped to his leg.
So yet another international Islamic terrorist plot – and yet another British connection. But why be surprised ? The UK is a country with little or no immigration controls (above) and social security benefits for every Tom, Dick and Mohammed. Despite 9/11, 7/7 and the dozens of other radical Muslim plots uncovered in Britain, the fact is that Islamic extremist networks continue to exist in Britain, encouraged by our politically correct liberal-elite New Labour chattering classes, constantly spouting about their “inclusiveness” and obsessed with “human rights”. Not to mention their urgent need to appease inner-city Muslims to get their votes so that their publicly funded orgy of misguided multicultural bullshit can continue . And as long as Islamic terrorists continue to arrive here, able to preach race and religious hatred from the safety of their taxpayer-funded mosques, protected by free speech legislation their Sharia Law would destroy, safe in the knowledge that our naive, mealy-mouthed UK politicians won’t have the balls to deport them, then trouble the West will continue to have.

And incredibly, as if to prove the point, Britain yesterday marked the first anniversary of Israel’s military onslaught on Gaza by announcing a £50 million aid package for Palestinians, including backing for what it called “a drive against extremism” among the territory’s young people. The move came 24 hours after Israeli forces killed 6 Palestinians in one of the conflict’s deadliest days since the 3-week offensive that began with massive aerial bombing of Hamas targets a year ago yesterday. What the bloody hell are we sending £50 million to Gaza for ? Is the UK recession over ? Has poverty been eradicated in Britain ? And how much of this “aid” will end up in the form of AK-47′s and rockets fired into Israel ? If Gordon Brown wants “a drive against extremism” he should concentrate on places like Birmingham, Leeds, London and Manchester – and forget about his fashionable anti-semitism which leads him to be obsessed about Gaza.

And while our cretinous government is sending our hard-earned money to Gaza, it was reported yesterday that more than 7 million UK households struggle to pay their fuel bills (above), almost double the official estimate, according to new research. In an opinion poll for the National Housing Federation, 65% of people in “fuel poverty” said they heated their homes less than would like because they could not afford the high prices of gas and electricity. The research adds to pressure on the government to take action against energy suppliers to bring down bills and increase social support for vulnerable households to ensure they can stay healthy in the cold. Fuel bills average £1,239 a year, having fallen by only 4 % in 2009 despite the costs of wholesale gas and electricity falling by more than 50%. Maybe New Labour should look at THAT instead of pissing about worrying about Gaza.

In the UK the number of people holding wheelclamping licences (above) has increased since the Government consulted on ways to control the industry earlier this year. Figures show there are 2,100 individuals or agencies licensed to clamp – a rise from 1,200 in March 2008 and 1,900 in April 2009, when the Home Office launched its “Vehicle Immobilisation Consultation”. Motoring organisations say that ”the figures reveal more and more people are becoming clampers because the business is so lucrative and the law surrounding it so lax.” They claim that with charges for being clamped and towed often running into several hundred pounds, cowboy clampers will be out in force during the Christmas sales, on the lookout for motorists who leave their car in the wrong place even for a few minutes. And they want the Government to act quickly. With this crowd of incompetent sods in charge, don’t hold your breath – or park in the wrong place.

You really couldn’t make it up Jim could you? All year we’ve had Brown parrot “to keep our streets safe” and all the while these nutters are already here planning their next moves, while our troops are half way across the world.
If they let the military loose on the terrorists in this country, the place would be cleared up within months. Deportations would actually happen and human rights wouldn’t enter into any of it.
There’s kinda truth on this. Yet we could all admit that “security” is by far the most difficult thing to achieve in any country. Let’s just hope and pray that the government will find a better way of minimizing terrorism.
